Oh, and I think it's a better sound comparison than simply posting a very badly encoded 30 second sound clip, at least. A bit more interesting to watch, anyway.

IMHO it is a very lame sound comparison.

He actually says higher ENGINE speeds, not velocity of the bike itself.

 

Just in case if you haven't noticed... the louder sounds from the bike are heard in 5th and 6th... over 10K RPM.

I'll try and find a movie a friend of mine made with his mini DV. That was a good sound test... too bad... that he didn't do the same thing with the stock exaust.
