Does your riding suit (or gear) need to match your bike?

  • Yes, but a piece doesn't match. I'll replace it later.

Does your riding suit (or gear) need to match your bike?

So, is your riding suit (or gear) colored the same as your bike? Was it for any previous bikes? If no options fit, explain.

My jacket and pants are black, so they match everything. I originally got my helmet, boots and gloves with blue accents to match the bike, but now that the bike is green, I'm not going to run out and buy green stuff.

Actually, they do still kind of match since I kept the accents blue. So, I guess it does match, first on purpose and then by accident.

That's my convoluted, there wasn't a choice for it on the poll, answer. :)

You're...not going to start crying on me are you? Oh well, move on over to Toronto by ride (or walk, son) my place is right along the way. You can stop by and put a few slugs in me. :eek:nfloor

I have a black gx-air cortech jacket, silver olympia motor sports pants, black helmet and a construction worker style reflective vest. My bike is blue, I don't care that nothing matches as long as when people look up between text messages they can see me!

Ehh most Black jackets with accents look good on any bike but my icon jacket is Lime green and would look odd on any bike thats not Green white or black.

My helmet is mainly black and I would wear it on any bike. If anything when I see a guy with miss matched gear I assume is he a seasoned rider.

I voted yutuggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

only because my 1 pieces matches (its black and white- therefore by default matches)

and my textile is gray (therefore by default matches)

but my daily textile jacket is matchy matchy with the CBR- blk/ylw... and now I have panty dropper blue as a bike- it no longer matches.

irritated I didn't plan that out.

I will be buying a leather black and or black/white jacket when I get money. Then I match everything I ride.

Nope, all of my gear is black and grey, didn't match any of my previous bikes, which were all lime green or red. However my new FZ1 just happens to be, Black and Grey, so now I do match. I recently scored some Frank Thomas race gauntlets that are white, black, and tan, so now I'm back to not matching again.

All of my gear is black and grey. I have 2 bikes, one red, one blue and a soon to be third that will be yellow. So I think black and grey, with a white helmet goes with each.

i've started to make it habit to purchase my gear based on huge discounts because they are colors/color schemes that nobody apparently likes. none of my shit matches. just bought an awesome helmet at over half off because it was a very unpopular color. got some held phantom gloves the same way. if i keep this up, i'll end up with the ugliest fucking gear on the planet and i still won't give a rat's ass...

Nope, I prefer that it doesn't, I prefer the mix matched style. lol

My old attire was a gunmetal jacket, white and blue gloves, red and white boots and a bright ass red and white helmet, jeans and my bike was purple and grey. :eek:nfloor

Yep. Black bike and I color coordinated my gear to match.

Bought a "GIXXXXXXXAH" t-shirt to go with my Oakleys and my black Crocs. Still looking for the right pair of cargo shorts to complete my street riding setup.

:)

Seriously, though. My first bike was red/ black.....first helmet was blue and first jacket was blue/black, lol. I didn't give a fawk. Now I have a few multiple color setups (blue, red, blue/white/red, and idk....tan/red helmets. White/black, blue/black, red/black/white jackets. All my gloves are black, and boots are black with either white trim-A* or red trim-Sidis). Anything goes with a black bike.

i think a blue suit on an orange bike is going to look beautiful this summer.

I wore my blue leathers to ride my brother-in-law's orange VTX home from the dealer for him once when he was out to sea. And I had to ride through the heart of Gator country. I never got so many cheers while riding before. :headbang :giggle

I usually buy neutral looking gear so it doesnt matter what the bikes colors are. For example, my leathers are just black. That goes with just about everything. Although I have a blue helmet n blue bike.

I never intentionally match my gear to my bikes, but I buy so much gear that some of it is inevitability going to match to some degree, but some of it doesn't match at all. Like, I've got a Triumph branded textile/mesh 2 piece suit that is my current favorite thing to wear, and I ride a Suzuki. Bottom line, I don't really care if it matches or not, as long as it doesn't make my a$$ look fat.

I match the bikes to my gear . But I don't see an option on the list for that .I have black aplinestar leathers and black dainess textiles sssssoooooo KTM when bought it had an orange tank so I changed it to a black one . Aprilia falco I bought the Black and Bronze one . Honda FMX took a while but eventually found one that was black and not red . Vincent Rapide well umm they are always black bit like Model T ford .
