Well Im sit'n at work and hear what I thought was a bike roll in; so me and a couple guys go out to see this Lotus SR7... then the guy pulls off the hood and ..sweet ... Busa power plant. Here are the pics.. this thing weighs in at approx 1100lbs wet. He uses as much of the bike as he can.. handle bar switches, speedo bezel with the gauges and all. Sounds great. And ya I had to sit in it ofcourse.. talk about a tight fit! You amost have to wear race boots just so you do not hit 2 peddles at the sametime. I could never drive it in my work boots. Anyway here are the pics *Taken with my Cell Phone*

That's different. I wonder how it runs? Busa motors are fast, but they reside in a 500 lb machine. I imagine the effects of their power lessen as more weight is added

im sure with some of the tweaks you could do he has it pushing over 200 HP. Still alot for an 1100 lb car.

MOst of the Piece of shit civics that think they are fast are around 3000 lbs with 115 horsepower and a goddamn fart pipe.

It's still going to be insanely quick. It won't have a high top speed, but that's because of (lack of) horsepower and aerodynamics, though. Just think of it this way, you can rev it up and dump the clutch not having to worry about looping it or spinning the rear wheels (much). You could be very aggressive with that thing and still be 'safe'.

true, but i wonder how much that smart car (with original motor removed and replaced by a busa motor) weighs? I bet it's got most of the interior removed as well...

either way, watch the vid, clearly it is like 10 times as powerful as the a smart car...
