Hey everyone, Just got a used 06 gsxr 600 with about 2000 miles on it. The previous owner never laid it down so it looks mint. For the first mods, I'd like to get some frame sliders preferable some cut motovations. On their install page http://www.motovationusa.com/Install_print_GSXR600 06R.html for the cuts, they say to make a hole 28mm diameter.

For those of you who have the cut sliders, do you unbolt the left slider each time you do an oil change since there is no way of sliding the fairing off with that small 28mm hole since the slider is a lot b*****?

No, the slider itself should be about 27mm wide. Thus, you drill a 28mm hole in the fairing so the slider will slide through the hole as you pull the fairing on and off whenever you like. The slider always stays on the bike.

28mm = 1.102 inches. I'm guessing the slider is about 1 inch in diameter. 27mm = 1.062 inches

Yeah the part that sticks out of the fairing is b***** then the 28mm.You would have to take off the slider to get the fairing off.
