Hey guys, I have the opportunity to buy a 929 off of a friend for pretty cheap but it needs a new front end, forks, triple clamps, wheel, front plastic and gauges. Did the 954 use the same forks and triple tree? I found one on ebay for a reasonable price I guess for the forks and triple tree all in one. Do forks from another year work as well, like the newer 1000's? I seem to be having a hard time finding anything for the 929 and I'm not sure if it's going to be worth it to spend to fix it.
