i think i may break out my ruler tomorrow and measure up the 636 at the shop and see if the dimensions are the same.

but does anyone know if someone has mounted up 636 front forks and radial brakes onto a zx7r ?

That's a kickass idea. A good way to improve braking and shed a few pounds. But, how would the forks respond to the additional 100 pounds bike?

new fork springs revalving, and thicker fork oil would take care of that, if the dimensions are the same

what about checking the 10R forks, if they fit they would be perfect for the 7R

might be, but after re springing the forks and crap they would be fine, and i bet they are of higher quality.

I was under the impression they were identical except for the DLC.
