On a whim, I bought these from ebay, basically hoping it will work for a retro fit on my F4i. If it doesn't work out, I'll just take a little loss and sell them to someone else. Anyway, I've done the searches and everything, but want to know if:

a) This will work for my bike. I read a "how to" by I think Rotty, not sure about the name, and he said bi-xenon had a ton of wires while the basic didn't. I dunno. I'm not totally sure what I have, just "won" it tonight.

b) Any basic tips on what to look out for, what not to do, etc.

I'm pretty handy, and always like to do things myself. I know I could've just spent a little extra $$ and had a plug and play type of deal, but where's the fun in that? Anyway, if anybody can help me out, that'd be sweet.

i got a plug and play type deal but if i had to guess i'd say you will have to rip out your headlight. throw it in an oven to heat up the glue that holds it together. when heated enough seperate the 2 pieces... mount the projector (straight, level whatever) glue housing back together. mount/install balasts wires (cut, cplice, tape) and your done.... now keep in mind i have no idea what im talking about, just an educated guess
