I went to the dealership to test drive a new bike. Got geared up and hit the road. Coming up to a red light, go to lean the bike and put my right foot down. I'm only 5'4 (I have to lean). So, I go to put my right foot and my shoe lace got rapped around the foot peg. Needless to say with my short stature I couldn't hold the bike up and my foot couldn't touch the ground because the shoelace was rapped, so I dropped it and got my leg out from under the bike right before it slammed. Broken blinker, mirror, scratch front plastic and exhaust.nfloor Needless to say when the dealer showed me the bill I just bought it and fixed the issues for 1/4 the price he gave me. And that’s my story.

Yea, forget paying for your own mistakes, pass that shit off to the dealership, and pretend like it was there dude. I would never pay for my own mistakes. Ever. That is the worst. If I can break other peoples things, and get away scott free, then man, I go to bed happy at night.

the few times I ride in boots with exposed laces, I tuck them into the boot where noobish things like that wont happen

Every dealer I've taken a test ride from requires a copy of my license, usually a copy of my insurance card, and always a signed waiver form that if I crash I (a) will pay for their damages, and (b) won't sue them for my damages.
