I'm serious, too: Injuries of that size have *got* to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected or infection will set in. That could be a VERY big problem.



I'm going to make a judgement call, based on the fact that he's lying on a towel in what appears to be a hotel room, and say our friend looped a wheelie since he also apparently landed on his back. If it were a "legitimate" traffic accident he'd have been taken to a hospital.

Yeah, that'll hurt like a bitch. I had a little bit of road rash on my left elbow awhile back (lowsided - loose fitting leathers) and that really hurt. He's should drink a lot of water 'cause he's gonna be dehydrated from crying so much.
