Got out today with all the new gear and dragged my knee for the first time.
Actually, got both knees, but I'm finding it a little tougher to go right.

I have my first track day coming up on Sept 22. Can't wait!

I have the same suit. At least I did until the pants got lost, but anyway it's one of the best suits you can get for under $500 for sure.

well I have the one piece lol. its an sg-1 suit. I picked mine up used for 300 bucks

That's for sure! I'll be taking it real easy..
I'm really anxious to ride in a controlled environment. I think I'm overly cautious on the street. (that's probably what has keep me rubber side down so far). Most of my riding mates are taking the corners much faster than me. So many guys out there have no problem diving into unfamiliar blind corners! Fortunately I can play catch-up in the strait.
The track will be a different story. I can put aside the fear of running into gravel, animals, traffic etc.

Yep, the duc is going to the track. Like I said though, I'll be taking it easy. I got nothing to prove. As long as I see myself improving, I'll be happy.

I remember lightly skimming one of my pucks around here, and then months later taking a trip down to Deals Gap and doing some major damage to my pucks.

but then I guess if you're running a duc 1098 at the track you proably don't have too many financial issues to worry about....

I thought I was taking it easy too... then I crashed and was happy it wasn't my street bike!
