I'm in Charlotte, specifically. I"m currently with State Farm. We moved our coverage from Ohio to NC, and they've decided to double my motorcycle rates, despite the fact nothing, other than where I live.

Current costs are now $600/year (up from < 300/yr in Ohio).

Who is everyone using?

Progressive at 231 a year. But I'm 40 miles east of you and deep in the country. Less risk. Planning on switching to geico in march though.

I'm on All State no problems so far. 270/yr for 2 bikes, not full coverage though.
Boyfriend is in Charlotte and is also on All State on full coverage on an 07 R1 I think he's paying about ~100/mo (no idea for sure though) this is with not exactly the best driving record.

Same thing happened to me in 95 when i moved here from Ohio. I shopped around and stayed with S.F. , but I tell everyone to shop around just make sure you are comparing apples to apples.
