Hey everyone, I was just browsing the forum, and I saw that I couldn't see any threads. Just sticky topics. I don't see any topics.

Near the bottom change the show threads from 'last month' to 'all time.' This place is dead, so all posts are older than a month now.

^^ Times changed. Everyone's on social media now. People came to forums because they didn't know what to buy, they didn't know how to fix this or that. Now all you need is a quick google search and you get a thousand review comparisons of bikes, gear, parts, tires, dealers, websites, whatever you need. You have a bike problem - all you do is type the problem in youtube and you get a gazillion videos explaining and showing you how to solve it. Forums are an artifact of the past times when humans were still involved in finding the information you need. Now google knows it all so why bother.

Plus, there's only so many times you can say tires are round and black, clean oil is slippery, and chains should be adjusted.

Hi, I'm Jake. I rode my brother's dirt bike twice 5 years ago and being the experienced rider that I am I was looking for affirmation to buy myself that sexy looking R6.
I'm also pretty tall at 5'1" so I may need to step up to an R1 to account for my size.
Replies
Hi Jake, you retarded fuck, read the stickies, buy yourself a one-piece, read and watch all versions of twist of the wrist, take the MSF and then proceed to buy a gas-powered bicycle. Ride that for 500,000 miles and then look into upgrading to a moped

I like going to the forums and reading the threads and looking at photos. I like going to Youtube also, but the forums are fun to play around on.

Thanks for the advice. I changed it. What other bike forums are there?

The only one that matters. :)

Triumph675.net
Maybe one day I'll get to own one. I'm trying to think of the best bike i should get next.

I haven't ridden since around 2014. My last bike was a Kawasaki 250 2010 model. I did fall off of it once. I have a thread posted with all the info.

Not sure what to get as a second bike. I really want a 600, but I'm wondering if I should get something to some practice on again and kinda get used to being on a bike again first. I would consider another 250.

I really like the Yamaha FZ-07, but I don't know if that's a little more motor than I should get. I'm still a beginner. I only have about 5,000 miles ridden so far.

I would love to own a Daytona one day. I watched a video last night with one and it was beautiful.

If you want something kinda fast, but not true 600 fast. I'd try an SV650, or even a used FZ6r (has about 65 hp).

You don't need another 250. You'd be comfortable on a b***** bike in about 10 minutes, from what you learned on a 250.
