So I had to replace my stator cover due to it getting in a fight with the road and losing. The 3 bolts that hold the stator coil to the cover had some type of goop which kept them from backing out on the threads. When I put the new cover on i replaced it with blue loctite stick... I couldn't find the goop stuff... was this a bad choice? I wasn't 100 percent sure what to use. I didn't want to use red and if god forbid I ever need to replace it again, I didn't want to have to drill the bolts out. The stuff I used is 110 lb breaking force and good upto 300 deg F

Yeah, even when you need to remove them! Use the blue...it's made to be removed later but will not come loose on its own.

Red locktite is good for the screws on a coffin or something where a bolt can take the many hundreds of pounds of torque required to break it lose. Blue is the way to go for any other applications.
