Okay so some people run nitrous at the track or even sometimes on the street, but what happens when you have a nitrous explosion on a motorcycle?? I've seen backfires blow the intake right off a car engine, and in the case of a bike im thinking engine, nitrous, intake box, gas tank, you; that seems like a bad combination.

So what happens? Anyone ever see in person or on video one go off?

Using NOS is incredibly dumb... IMO the extra speed is not worth the risk.

nitrous on motorcycle - uhhhh

An old thread just popped up about nitrous on a bike and i couldnt help but start thinking how bad of an idea that is. Wrapping your torso around a thin fuel tank, with the potential for a nitrous explosion directly underneath. So much potential there.

That looks like a nitro drag bike. Nitromethane is a fuel (aka top fuel). It is not suitable for street-use, at all.

Nitrous, which I'm definitely not an expert on, I think usually blows from injecting off throttle. Nitrous is added to gas through injection. I think most motorcycle kits are wired so you can only shoot nitrous into the system under full throttle.
