Damn that sucks bro., glad to see you made it out no worse than you did. There needs to be some kind of commerical or what not to remind the cage drivers to always remember to be aware of those on BIKES.

Assholes running stop signs and red lights it a whole nother subject.
Are you and the bike got all your parts back together?

Yeah gear woulda help a little bit I guess...At least for the roadburn anyways...but i had about 50 feet to decide what I was gonna do so I decided to lay it down as opposed to taking him head on..Ended up getting ejected the bike did 3 summersaults and I landed under the guys car...my helmet actually wedged between the street and the bottom of the car which prevented me from sliding all the way under his car...When rescue got there the pulled me from underneath and transported me...ended up with 2 fractures in the right leg, 2 fractures to the left arm and a whole lotta road rash...I think the fracture in my leg is from the bike falling on it and the hand is wheni put it out to protect myself... but it coulda been worse though Im thankful I am alive...besides I was geting ready to sell the bike anyway so now ill get the money for it

How exactly did the accident happen and what were the speeds involved?
The reason I ask is that very rarely (if ever) is "lay it down" the best resolution to avoid an accident.

It's easier to stop or slow down or avoid while upright.

PS

Wear your gear in the future

Would you guys consider my bike totaled? What defines a totaled bike?
I would say it's toatlled. A buddy of mine had a red F2 very similar to yours and a guy that lives in his building backed over it with his mustang. Going like 1mph the insurance co. totalled it. All he needed was 1 new clip on, fairings, tail section, front fender, and one rearset to get it fixed and they totalled it.

At least you're allright.

A totaled bike is damage exceeding 85% of current market value.

If the frame is tweeked its pretty much totaled, though you should give Pompano Pat's or Moto-Connection a call if you want to rebuild it. The've both got TONS of used F2 and F3 parts in stock. From the pics it looks like some fiberglass/plastic weld work, a headlight, and maybe a set of forks will be needed.

Where are you located in Lauderdale? I work in Oakland Park and I'd be glad to give you a written estimate for the repairs (though I usually only work on close friend's sportbikes).

email me and I'll give you directions and contact info.
