IMO it really depends on the overall look of the bike. In most cases, I don't care for the look of them. There are a few that I've seen that do look really good tho.

To each their own.....just not really my style.

Why is it ghetto? I have a Black/Silver 600RR. Most of my gear is black and silver and I have an ICON flat black bucket with a chrome face shield. Hell, if nothing else, I at least match my bike. ( i know matching my bike don't make me a better rider, but I have been riding for 16 years and I think I deserve to have a little Bling in my life, at least I wear gear) And yes, before I get the :ar, I do keep the clear face shield handy if I am out past my bedtime too. So again, why is it ghetto?

I've seen a couple on a gsxr 03 - silver 1k, and blk - 04 1k's then again the bikes had other chrome stuff on it. So definatly made it tie in and looked good.

I think they're talking about bike windscreens. Not helmet shields.

But I have the yellow one and it actually looks good on my bike. But as been said already, to each his own and I like it. Never really bent down lown enough to look through my windscreen. I dont go to the track, and its not like im doing 80mph on the highway, because that illegal...

I’ve seen a lot of them on bikes recently. I don’t know if it’s just at the angle at which I’ve seen them, or whether they were coming or going, they seem to draw a lot of attention to the windscreen itself, rather than the bike.
