I'm planning on buying my first bike right after I take my MSF and get a bike license... I'm looking at a Kawasaki Ninja 500. I called my insurance and they couldn't quote me right off the bat :bj (even though I'm 25 and had 6 cars insured with them) , had to send the request to the under-writer. So, I take this chance to ask you guyson what kind of insurance are you paying?

Please specify the name of the company, your age and deductibles

when i had my F3 with just libiabity it was 470 a year. then i went ot buy a 1000RR and they quoted me 13,000 a year. that was progressive

i called up liberty mutal and i pay 883 a year for full coverage on my RR. im 25 and got a few points and totalled out car. i took the MSF and i got alarm on my bike which helped out for 30 bucks off. next year when there is no points on my license it will be cheaper.

that there should help you out

on another note. i know this kid who has a 03 Rsix and he was paying 2400 a year now i told him about liberty mutual he is only paying 400 a year.

I had Progressive at $2200/year on my 2002 Yamaha YZF600R. After 2 years I finally took the plunge and got MSF finished. I just saved a boatload of money by switching to Geico. $257/year. I was also quoted about $1200 from Bikeline, but that didn't factor in the MSF discount.

Full coverage, of course.

I am 35.

July 25th (when i turn 21) i can get full coverage (state farm) for 1200 a year

I pay $330 a year on my 750 and $470 a year on my 10R. This is with $250 deductibles on both comp. and collision through State Farm. I'm 27 and I haven't had a traffic ticket on my record in six years.

2 tickets, no wrecks
90 fzr 600
480$ a year liability, progressive

was quoted 4100 a year for a 03 r6, full coverage since it would have been financed. So I found my fzr and paid cash.
