What Color Should I Get?

i'm gonna be getting my bike repainted soon and i'm trying to think of a color to get. my bike is a '02 yellow and black F4i. i'm thinking about getting it painted all yellow, but i was told that yellow is the most expensive paint you can get (i've heard this before and it's because of the cost of the pigment used to make the paint). does anyone have any suggestions as to any other colors to paint it? if you can, post some pics so i can get an idea. it doesn't have to be the same bike as mine, i just want to see what color you're talking about. Thanks!

I'm with you on the all yellow job. That's one reason I loved my 98' 900RR so much. Almost nothing but pure yellow. Uhhh I miss that bike :cry
some kinda nice blue/black combo, or do it like rhythms bike :D
I have always loved red/black
yellow is no where near the most expensive color. I work at my fauthers body shop. my bike is camelion and the paint job would of cost $3,500. I am going to paint it again at the end of this month not sure of the colors yet. yellow is more expensive than blue, black, ect. but not that much paint it so your happy or you will want it repainted again in no time. I change the color of mine every year or two. this is my bike in camilon and ford blue. The bike was laid down right after it got painted

I like the look of a gunmetal gray bike with red rims (ala new Ducati 1000DS). All yellow sounds cool too, and yellow isn't the most expensive color, it's the FASTEST color. Doesn't yellow add like 15rwhp? :)
you want a nice color go with house of colors tangello its a mix of orange and yellow and looks like a burnt orange with a pearl its a nice color and the price is decent. Chrome illusion witch is camelian paint isn't worth it cause you scratch it or lay the bike down you can't blend the paint. I worked in a shop since I was 5 and learned alot and know alot about paint and body work so stuck to a base coat clear coat with a high gloss clear and a nice pearl! :headbang :mg

Thats why my bike didnt get toudhed up you got to repaint the whole thing
Be creative. Anyone can pick a random color and paint their whole bike. Contrast is what catches the eye.

Boooooooooooooooooo
yellow is for ****'s. red/black is a god combo, but if i ever repaint mine it'll be all black. thats the best way :headbang
Ever seen The Boiler Room?

"Rizzo is the calla....."

Black is good too.
Don't ruin a perfectly good bike by painting it yellow :spank I'd vote flat black, or flat black with flat black gunmetal honda wing across the front. Sniggs bike is also nice, red bikes are much faster :headbang But seriously yellow porches/ferraris/TT's etc are all for middle aged wrinkly woman!

The only exception is a Ducati, even then you would still paint it red :)
Was it wrecked? I say keep it stock for resale. Nobody pays good money for a repainted bike.
yeah, i laid my bike down and scratched up the right side. even before i laid it down i was thinking about getting it repainted.

about yellow being expensive, i meant that it's the most expensive of the basic paints. of course color shifting and some of those other high speed paints are expensive.

i thought about flat black, but i want to actually be seen out on the road. cagers "don't see" bikes as it is.
candy green...yes :leghump
