Here is the link to the original thread of what happened to my bike.
http://www.sportbikes.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2042

I'm still wating on lots of parts like my ZeroGravity windscreen, flushmount turn signals, extreme graphics undertail, rear seat eleminator, and a few other odds and ends but other than that the SV is done and I'll be out tonight. Here are some pics from working on it last night a two of the finished (for now) product with the new full fairing kit installed hope you guys like it. Let me know what you think of it. :D

Took this pic at 4AM when I was up working on it.

Still lots more parts on the way should be sweet when I'm all done.

No I wanted a dual system as well but I couldn't pass this one up it is SOOOO light compared to the original exhaust I shaved off close to 30 pounds with the new system and it sounds SOOO SWEEET

It may be lighter, but the twin exhaust looks BAD A$$ on an SV!!! In fact, the dual exhaust is enough reason for me to choose a SV1000 over a 650 (obviously, if I could afford one, but I can't afford even a Nighthawk 250 that also haves a dual exhaust :flipa )
I had a lot of trouble finding a Dual system that I liked. The problem was that it had to be a complete full system not just slip ons because when he rear ended me it bent my header pipes as well. I was dissapointed that I had to go with a 2-1 but now I think I really like this setup and it sounds so damn good.

Looks great!! A titanium exhaust would've looked even better IMO.

What about your friend who rear ended you, what's up with his?
Well since he only had liability I took the left over money from fixing my bike which was about 2 grand and gave it to him so he could fix his enough to ride.

The Yoshi single TRS exhaust system sounds sweet on the SVS.... that is what I have on mine. Tell me you got a power commander with the full exhaust though? I wish I could have lucked out with all the extra cash to do the aftermarket stuff to my bike. Oh well. Congrats man! by the way..... what is the extreme graphics undertail? what does it look like? I am thinking of getting the hotbodies racing undertail and hugger for mine. I just wish I could find a carbon fiber hugger for it.

Don't go with the hotbodies I placed an order with them and they told me that they are not even developed yet but are expected to be out in 3 weeks :flipa here is a link to what the extreme graphics one looks like they are our of Canada though so it takes about 2 weeks to get to your door but a much better product than the Hotbodies. I got the one with the integrated turn signals. And yes I have a Power Commander coming as well as a K&N filter. :headbang

Hotbodies really told you that? I have three buddies that have them on their SV's. I have heard their service sucked but i was going to order through louis in sportbikegarage in the vender section. he said $170 for it. thanks for the link man!
He's the one that said 3 weeks wait.

Not sure but I called hotbodies directly and they said it would be three weeks as well so I'm not sure what's going on. All I know is that the Extreme Graphics is supposed to be a superior product I guess I'll find out for myself.

Excellent, so I take it you made a bit of money off this then.
Could have made a lot but I gave what was left over to the guy who hit me since he was my friend and all and he only had liability I wanted him to get back on the road soon. What are friends for after all?

Nice gesture......BUT will it make him more responsible in the way he rides/pays attention........by you bailing him out?
I've thought about that but in the end it all came down to me just not feeling right about him losing his bike and his insurance getting jacked sky high while I sat with a fatter bank account and a nicer bike. After all I have been riding with him for a while and he is a very responsible guy.
