Dropped her for the first time. I know I know im an idiot! I was turning around on a narrow road last night and couldnt see the edge very well and when I turned I musta turned it too sharp and boom she went down. The engine cut off worked! Didn't do any damage but scratch the right turn signal and mirror a bit. More embarresing I guess. Now she's broke in!

Don't think you are an idiot. The only thing that will make you an idiot is if you don't learn and grow as a rider from this accident. Luckily your first drop was a very minor one and it's out of the way now. Just get back up and enjoy learning to ride more. This gives you an excellent oppurtunity to get some carbon fiber mirrors and turn signals. 
Don't worry about it... for some reason this bad boy can take a hit I've got two drops.. one stop and drop when I slowed down to a stop, front tire went into a pothole, and thar she goes! I think I scratched my peg lol.
Other than that, was coming through a turn, someone started to blow a red light, so I was slowing down, he then stopped, I went to power through it in third... bad idea Stalled, locked, and down... scratched my mirror and turn signals.
But, since then, 200 miles later, not a damn thing.... so its time for me to start doing some mods

I've dropped twice now...once on the right, and once on the left. The right hit was JUST off the showroom floor. The throttle/chain had a LOT of slack in it, and she stalled on a slow turn....*plunk*.
The second was taking her off the center stand.
Odd thing......NEITHER drop...(and we're talking laying down here)....hit the tank! Both of them took the hit on the handlebar ends. A couple seconds with a sharpie later, and good as new!
