i picked up a MIR 75lb vest(their short vest) it was about $230 shipped but there are not that many out there over 40 lbs and i figured if im going to be spending over $100 i might as well get a really good one. The quality is really good on it and im sure it will hold up. I went running in it today with 30lbs in it and boy did it kick my but. my only complaint is the chest strap on it, what it should have is 2 straps on each side that are sewn to the back and clip in the front. what it has is one strap that goes all the way around and Velcros to the front and back. I think if it had the proper straps it wouldn't bounce so much and would be easier to put on.

I've never have been a big fan of weight vest I always thought that they would put a little to much strain on your knees. But back in highschool I was a distance runner, and once for fun I tried running a few miles with 20 lbs on I thought I was going to die, so I can only imagine what 60 lbs would do. But that was distance say 2-3 miles. Not sprints so I don't know,
