Hey guys, remember a long time ago when I mentioned they were going to be filming the new Batman movie in Chicago? Well they are right now. Shooting all the exterior night scenes with the fights and Batmobile and everything. Why don't we all ride down there Wednesday or Thursday night, say leave here around 10, and watch Batman beat people up for an hour or two?

I'm looking for the schedule for the shooting right now. It will say what streets are closed for filming so we can find it.

Last article in the news said "The production moved from Lower Wacker to the area around LaSalle, Jackson and Wells."

Bring your camera!

I was watching a show once and they said that movies are almost always filmed during the day and then darkness is added in later. Something about how it is easier to add the darkness in the editing room than to try to get proper lighting in the actual dark. I don't know if they are going to do it that way for this movie but if might be worth finding out before you make the trip.

I remember they when they were filming at Miller Park for the upcoming movie Mr. 3000 with Bernie Mack, but they filmed hella early in the morning so I think they used the natural night for that :) Batman rules, Adam West style

Mr 3000 was filmed at night. I was an extra in the croud for a couple nights. Boring as hell, but paid $100+ a night.

That would be different though because of the stadium lights etc...
