I agree, the frame and engine look sweet but the headlight fairing not so much. I also think it would look much better with beefier inverted forks and radial calipers.
I dont get that either, lets take the same motor, lose some power, and sell it, wtf? why even bother, save themselves some money and just leave it, we will buy it :banana
Not fussed on the headlight that much either, too much like the versys .. agree also on the inverted forks, that would be awesome. Reminiscent of the Z1000/750 ...
I like it a lot, aside from the fact that it's an (as dale would say) inline v-twin. . If it were a 4 or a v-twin, it'd be hot. Still a nice alternative to the sv and fz models. Kawasaki is building some nice bikes as of late.
I like it. I think that manufacturers detune the motor to try and make it beefier in the midrange, which actually makes for a better street bike. So what happens is you see a lower peak hp number but a flatter torque curve.
yes. 0-50 is a toss up between my bike and my brother's 08 ZZR600. I dont care much about anything else, 0-50 is all that matters for the average street rider.
however, the buzz of a 2 might drive you crazy - Kawasaki cheaped out in the vibration deadening department - these bikes are notorious for having fairing and other buzzes.
That actually looks pretty sweet, but I'm still gonna have to side with the '08 Z1000 as the hottest-looking naked on the streets. Damn I can't wait to add one to my garage.
not to change the subject but did anyone take a look at the zx6r monster energy? that makes me wana spend 10k on a new bike....the exhaust is ugly as all hell though
thank you! I think we're the only two who like it! Maybe if we both go to the same dealer and trade our bikes in for the 09 monster we can get a deal
