How do you guys wash your helmet mainly the inside?.....mine has to be just filled with years of sweat? Thanks :beer

you mean the liner? I take it out and throw it in the washer...

Some can't be taken out.

I heard you can use soap and warm water and just scrub the inside then let it sit for about 3 days. I would think that causes mold though, not sure.

Take it in the shower and wash it with shampoo. Its made to remove that kind of dirt. Rinse it well and pat it dry with a towel.

Dunk it in a bucket of soapy water.

Get some Helmet Fresh (or maybe it's called Helmet Clean?) to spray inside. Stuff works awesome. Follow the instructions and let dry overnight. Gets rid of the funky smells, etc.

Come to think of it, it's time for my helmet to get treated tonight.

I scrubbed the inside with soap and warm water, rinsed it with cold water, then placed it in front of a dehumidifier to dry. It worked really well!

Not sure, but I think that stuff is just fabric softener.
