So its been knocked over and the complete tool wants 4 and a half grand for it?

I know the ninjette is a good beginner bike but prices are fucking insane. I see posts like these time after time...

How can it have been dropped and have scratches and still be mint? To me, mint means no scratches, dents and pristine. Sadly, someone will likely buy it and when they go to the dealer for maintenance will see they could have gotten a brand new one for the same or less even.

i emailed the lady and asked about the bike and gear and what not. Her general response was that she wants to get what she paid for it... and then some.

Man, I wish I lived in a world like that. I do my best to keep my delusions intact, but I don't have that much luck at it.

I would have responded with this...

"You do know it's used right? Good luck with that..."

Fucking morons these days...

I remember when the 2008 ones were HOT, and people were seriously paying dealers $5,000+ for them. Then people were selling them used for $5,000+. Now im glad that the 08's are plentiful and that these idiots will learn their lesson for getting ripped buying a new bike and then trying to pass it off to someone else.

I've been stalking CL 250s in the NY area for a few months now and I saw this post today. Right below him are 3 other low-mileage 2008s for 3k and one for $2,750. Through the last riding season asking prices have been $3,500, they've now dropped to an average of 3k with some out there for less.

And then one of these idiots comes along and posts it for $4,500. She's never going to get that price as buyers are not idiots. I got a dealer quote for a new 2009 - $4,900 OTD, non-negotiable 'cause they're "flying."

No one would pay $4,500 for a 2yr old 250.

They never want to accept the fact that they lost money.
