I usually park perpendicular to curb, but wait minute! My bike was moved!

Upon closer inspection... Mother fucker! Someone ran over my bike!

When I was hit, I had to file the claim with THEIR insurance. Mine didn't care at all.

Their insurance wouldn't deal with me until I had a police report in hand proving it wasn't my fault, then they were great to work with.
