I got home from 2wt and found that I had at least an hour before I needed to hit the sack... so I dug up my gilles rearsets. Left side was cake; tested a few settings and found I liked it all the way back and up, shifter pointed a little down.

I proceed to go to install the brake side and reading the instruction, I'm supposed to 'grind away overpassing edge' and the diagram sucks. WTF? What happened to German engineering? I think 'I'll give it a shot anyway, I do have a dremel' and attempt to remove the stock parts. Unfortunately, as I try to remove one of the allen bolts, I round off my allen wrench like it was made of butter.

Ugh, looks like I'll be making a trip to Sears tomorrow.

I woke up a little early, remembered I had another set of allen wrenchs with some other tools. Got the right rearset on with out too much trouble.

Going to work on the bike now to test things out :).

PS Not sure if its just me, but I think dremels rock.
