Hey,

no its not really a wallpaper ( yet ) .. I wanna make one in proper size and it'll be something like this. What do u think? :)

Jin

I appreciate the STi presence. Very good work.

To those who say no "ricers" in Sieg's pic wtf kinda bike do you ride? If there were American "muscle" cars in the pics, then there should be Harleys to go along with them. Should there be duallies in the pics, too? If you got a problem with "rice" get of your "gawd damn crotch rocket, mother fucker". (As the ******** say). Looks good Sieg.

there's a difference between a stock sportbike with extreme performance and a stock japanese (or chinese or whatever) car with a big wing and big rims and a bumble-bee-in-a-tin-can exhaust. subarus are not bad cars, just not my cup of tea. and most japanese cars.... well, nothing compared to japanese bikes. or anything really.

When Top Gear tested Jeremy Clarkson (car show tv host) on a EVO FQ400 vs some British touring car champion ( obviously a better driver ) on a Lamborghini Murcielago on a track... guess who was faster? Lambo ended spinning around trying to get away(from a slower driver who was faster because he was on the evo)... absolutely no chance.

Evo and Impreza are rally based cars, on tight, wet, ice tracks, no other cars have a chance of keeping up. And the big wings are not there for the looks, these cars arent meant to look good.

Name me a car (stock new ) under the price of STi/EVO which is faster(I mean a laptime on some track)?

Im not really trying to prove anything, and I dont really care what u like or dont. I just get sick of ppl calling one thing shit. If you dont like something say "I dont like"... but just repeating something like "japanese cars are shit" without understanding anything is just stupid. I like all types of sportcars, they all have something interesting in them, and it would suck if they were all the same.

Nobody here cares. Cars suck. They're only here for their utility.

I can buy an R1, with Dainese gear, an Arai helmet and three years of insurance and knock the doors off either one of either of those cars. No contest.

Nice wallpaper though.

BTW - I'm sure a Neon SRT-4 with a good driver would make a run at either an Evo or STi, and those are less expensive. :D

A Subaru WRX is a race replica in the exact same sense that a CBR600RR is a race replica. It's a rally racing replica though not a road racing one. Both are built primarly for racing and both are super fast and fun on the street. For the money you can't top an STi or Evolution for real world speed. The wings are functional. The hood scoops are functional. The wheels are functional. The exhausts are functional. The high revving small displacement motors are functional. The turbo whisp is functional. The funky adjustable differentials are functional. These are cars that, like sportbikes, are built almost entirely for function.

My question to you would be how can you appreciate a purely functional race replica motorcycle but not a purely functional race replica car? They're the same damn thing. And you can bet some people talk about your sportbike in the EXACT same manner that you just described that car. What would your argument be to them about the plastics, the aftermarket exhaust, the sporty gear, the shitty mirrors, the tiny blinkers, the lack of storage space, and the high revving "bumble bee in a tin can" motor with ultra peaky power?

actually, Porsche 996 C4 beats R1 on the track by very little... and Mitsubishi evo FQ340 beats Porsche 997(new one )C4 by a few seconds ( according to the EVO magazine ( the name has nothing to do with lancer evo or japanese cars in general ) , it also costs less than half of porsche.

The bike is faster on the straight , but it just cant be faster in the turns because it only has 2 wheels the area of the tires that touches the ground is very little... the car has 4 wide tires which touch the ground all the time with all of their area.. so it wins in braking and turns...

Im not saying " a car is better than a bike" or anything.. just a comment to your post :) . I always like it when a bike beats the car though, always nice to see. I loved when Mick Doohan after trying the F1 car said something like..."err, its ok... but not that fast... u dont feel the speed " :)
