If I remember right, all it does is change the ignition timing curve. You might get a couple ponies out of it, and you might not..
Vance and Hines Power pack?
Hi the bike I just bought has a V&H power pack on it in place of the stock ECM.
I have never heard of anything positive about this area of V&H. I also cannot seem to find any information on them except old posts on the web that were fairly negative.
My question is, if I can, how can I reprogram it as I do not know how it is set up for this bike. I don't like unknowns and I almost didn't buy it simply because of this added on part.
Also, I'm leaning on just getting a factory one and installing that. Would that one need to be set up in any way, or the carbs or anything?
Any information on how these work and ideas on what I can do.
Just suspicious on what this is really giving my bike in terms of performance, or even what it might be taking away from it.
