Does anyone know what happened to Rossi's bike yesterday? I know it was mechanical failure, I was just wondering what kind of failure it was. Has anybody heard?

I watched the race yesterday (taped it), I couldn't freaking believe it. Yamaha and the tire sponsor is blowing it for him, he's gotta be frustrated. Maybe not hopkins-temper-tantrum frustrated, but still.

In any case, I wouldn't want to be a member of the Yami team. His skills are obvious, it's the bike/tires that are letting him down, now. I heard that Yami is going to be able to be running a new bike soon, though. I haven't followed motogp before this season so I don't know how all that stuff works.

The new bike is the 800cc. They are downsizing the motogp bikes to 800cc. Rossi said that he is going to stick with Yamaha to develop that bike, but who knows...

Oh wow, they're doing that mid-season? That's gotta mix things up. Is he under contract with Yami?
No, I'm sorry. I didn't make that clear. The 800cc bikes are coming on line next year. Some of the teams are already testing their bikes.

Rossi is supposed to have a deadline of the next gp race to decide if he's going to race for Ferrari or stick with motorcycles. I don't see him leaving GP simply because of all the bad luck he's had this year. I can't imagine him leaving at anything less than the champion. Of course, if he does, maybe Hayden could pick up some of the void.

Honestly. are you all just a bit tired of seeing he same person win all the time. I like to see Rossi race as much as the next guy but I don't like to see a runaway every race.

Back on topic....His motor broke!!! I would ask him why he able to ride it a bit longer before allowing getting off and letting someone else push it to the shop. The onboard video's sounds didn't sound like an engine breaking to me.

Yeah, Speed TV is great. You get to watch about 30 minutes of racing, and 30 minutes of commercials. Oh, and those 30 minutes of commercials contain only four different commercials, so you'll have them all memorized by the end of the race...

SPEED TV :pisson
DVR owns all :) As a fat, lazy american, I can't imagine going without it.
