been looking at parts for my bike lately and came across texasfairing.com . i really like their gunport style for the gixxer6:

is this an entire tail section or some shitty bolt-on to your stock crap? for $262.00 it better good! im asking b/c in the section on undertails there is another kit that looks like shit:

it looks like you just bolt on a piece of plastic on your stock tail section!

I have never understood undertails. All that work and money to change the look under the seat? I would never remove the rear fender from a bike that I actually ride sometimes when it rains. Moreover removing the or altering the signals to non DOT can get you a ticket or a failed inspection. And I would never consider buying a bike that had it done. Plus I have heard about Texas fairing--all bad.

Don't ever, ever buy anything from Texasfairing.com. Go ahead and Google around and you'll find one customer complaint after another. You'd be wise to stay far away from them.

everyone and their lame-ass brother has that undertail.
I see you're more interested in how your bike looks and how you look on your bike. You're not going to win any points in originality in any regard to after market accessories, I regret to inform you.

Yeah they do make these fenders extremely ugly, but I am not going to pay 300 dollars for something that doesn't gaurantee I pass inspection and makes my lights not DOT approved.

There also has to be ways something not DOT approved can work against you in an accident.
