This is cool... I just keep saving money left and right with my rebuild. Nig suggested I contact Traxxion to have my forks straightened... here is their response....

Yes, we can straighten fork tubes. Just as long as they are not too far gone. If there is no crease in the tube then we should be able to straighten her out for you. If you send just the tube then we charge $40 per tube to straighten. If you send the complete fork then it is $150 to disassemble the forks then the $40 straightening fee. Of course if you are interested in upgrading springs or valving we can do that while we have the forks as well.

I thought for sure I was going to drop a few hundred bucks for a new set of forks... now looks like I might only be out 100 bucks!

They have a good reputation. It won't be particularly cheap but they can build you a good front end. I think their catridge kits are around $1k.
