Do you tie down with bike on side stand, center stand or other method?
in a perfect world, i would only recommend transport in an enclosed trailer with a pitbull trailer restraint system.

in my imperfect world, i use a front wheel chock plus tie-downs on the clip-ons and transport it inside the back of a minivan.

the main things you want to consider are the front wheel turning (hence the chock) and not tying down the bike so tight that it screws with your suspension.

i would not tie-down the bike on the side or center stand. it's not very stable like that, in my opinion.

what are your intentions???

Stand it up straight, and a pair if tie downs to the frame or bars. Then all you need to do is hold the front wheel in place either with a wheel chock or a couple more tie downs. I've hauled my bike on 6 hour drives in the back of my truck a couple times like this with no problems at all.

If you tie to the bars, be careful of the plastics and don't tie to the end of the bars. You could bend the bars that way.
