Well, I finally had the TPS changed, after about 8 months of frustration. It had finally got to the point that it was acting up every time I rode. I took it to the shop, had them replace the TPS and do a throttle sync. When I picked it today, I rode it hard all the way home. It performed perfectly!!! It cost me about $300 total for those two things and regular maintenance. I'm just a little preturbed about the throttle sync thread, though. I found that the night I dropped my bike off. Oh well, $300 well spent, IMO.

:upyours to Ron Ayers. Now that's out of the way, yes I am enjoying it. I went on a nice little 275 mile jaunt through East Texas today. My Buell buddy and I where playing around and running them pretty tough. No issues at all. Actually, it kind of feels weird not turning the ignition on and off several times during my ride.

That's ok, I have a little beef with them too. I when I ordered spark plugs from them the listing said "plugs", so I assumed it was a set of four. Stupid first timer's mistake I know, but I was so pissed off when a single plug arrived a week later that I refused their offer to send the other three with free shipping. They blamed the error on the electronic catalog itself, which apparently comes from Yamaha, but I felt that was exactly the kind of thing a reseller ought to have smoothed out by now. Oh well...
