Flying out Wednesday morning for Vegas and staying for 5 days :banana

One of our friends is turning 21, so we'll be doing the usual bar crawl and picture taking around town. Hope to rent some motorcycle and go visit the Hoover Dam.

I know there's a bunch of us living in Vegas, anybody got any suggestions for cool shit to see while we're there? We're down for just about anything relatively inexpensive.

If you rent a motorcycle to see the hoover dam, make the trip out to red rock canyon, it's a 13 mile loop through a national park that is awesome. There is lots of hiking/rock climbing there if you are into either.

Besides The Strip and downtown Vegas (Fremont St), there's the Grand Canyon which would be cool on motorcycles.... just be careful, you can fall off. There's also a gun range on Tropicana Ave if you are into that type of thing. The best blackjack is at the Tropicana Casino. Try the Bellagio buffet, it's great.

I like the valley of fire for a ride. I don't do the vegas lifestyle though, so I can't recommend any clubs or things of that sort.

It was expensive, about $20/gun. But what sets it apart are the high-powered automatic rifles. Many outdoor gun ranges do not have them.

Well your missing the summer pool parties so... Hmmm as far as drinking and partying i would go to the hardrock or palms for the younger crowd for nightlife.

I skydived there. you can see lake mead the hoover dam and the strip at the same time haha.

I also rented a jet ski and rode it to the hoover dam its not that impressive on the top side though.

You can do a racing experience at las vegas motor speedway .might even have a bike school there im not sure.

Even if you're not into gambling, go to one of the strip casinos and grab a drink. Then walk to the Bellagio fountain for the show, its cool.

Venetian has the wax museum which is pretty cool. Palazzo has an exotic car dealership so you can go gawk at expensive rides, its like $10.

The NYNY roller coaster is actually a pretty fun ride, just a little short. Worth one go.

If you're renting bikes you have to do the red rock scenic loop. Just observe sane speed limits, ranger dan is all up in that bitch and gives out fat tickets.

Also if you're renting bikes, hoover dam is cool to ride out to, look around, then park at downtown boulder city for a chill spot/food.

Grand canyon isn't really a fun day trip. Its 4 hours there and 4 hours back, think about time spent on the road.

Fremont street at night has been mentioned.

Lots of good poker rooms if you like to play.

Even if you're not into clubs, voodoo lounge at the Rio has an awesome 50th floor balcony view of las vegas. Drinks are expensive, but pre-drink before and maybe 1 or 2 there won't break the bank.

Drinks are expensive everywhere in vegad. How do you think they pay the light bill.

The stratosphere experience is also fun there is 3 rollercoasters on top of that thing. nutts.
