Nothing wrong with the 750, it's been my favorite bike so far and I've had quite a few, although I don't really care for the headlights on the new model.

The GSXR's are really starting to win me over - especially the 750. Rave reviews all around, I just wish that their paint schemes weren't so freaking ugly (in my opinion).

It's up for MOTY contention, with the Gixxer 6, ZX10R in the up-coming SportRider.
Must be all new or significantly new bikes.
Maybe up against some others in CycleWorld, MotorCyclist.

Not sure what the Euro Mags say... I just look at the pics!

The '04 ripped up on *almost* all comers at the International 'Master Bike' challenge covered in the Sept issue
of Cycle World.
It crushed all the 600SS, Italian bikes, and all but one liter bike...
Damn that pesky green thing!

That new gixxer 750 is so nice! I want to pick up a left over next spring so bad. I just wish there were different paint schemes on them.

Does anyone have a pic of a gixxer without their standard paint job? Something that is more plain colored like a Kawi or Yamaha?

Yeah, it's called an '04 Gixxer 1000 in black/silver... :lol
That's the only thing that kept me from the 750.

It's a good performer, I personally liked the 96 blue/white paint scheme. Blue/white Red/white is Suzukis trademark colors, I dont know why Yamaha stole the scheme.

That was my bike, '97 though. I almost got another one in '04. Sometimes, I wish I had.
