Does anyone have a T-Rex front triple-tree stand and can comment on the quality? These are 1/2 the cost of a Pit Bull but was wondering if they are any good.
Can't speak for the quality of their stands, but I have a pair of their frame sliders. The quality on their sliders is excellent! When I laid my bike over, the left frame slider took the brunt of the damage and definitely did its job. I have no dents or damage other than scratches and 1 small crack on the front fairing. The sliders are 25 dollars for my bike shipped to my house, and that is the best 25 dollars I have ever spent.

I've heard good things about the stands, but I personally can't attest to the quality, so I'll let someone else chime in whose had some experience with them.

I have both the front and rear stands, just not the triple tree variety. The quality on the stands is fantastic, stable as a rock. Highly recommended, I bought my frame sliders from them as well.

Go forth and buy with confidence :dblthumb

i know they are sturdy but when i was looking a year or 2 ago they had straightness issues. but again that was a while ago
As compared to other brands that you have to bend to adjust to your bike?
T-Rex stands are very good quality. I've had a set for three years now, and no real issues. The rubber feet came of my rear stand because my garage floor sucks, and I use it so much.

I have the front, triple adapter and rear.

Have been using them FOR YEARS daily, sometimes 5 times a day.

I cannot understand why anyone would buy anything else for three times the cost of t-rex stands. $150 gets you all 3, front, tripple and rear.

Thanks for the info. In doing my research I was finding that people were saying they hold up but are bending - specifically the rear stands. Unfortunately I didn't think to look and see how long ago the posts were made...may have been on the Kawi forum.

I have T-Rex stands for my bike. However, I work with motorcycles day in and day out. I can say that the T-Rex stands are a great bang for the buck and will more then do the job for most. However, they are surely not the quality of Pit Bull or Woodcraft. Bottom line, if you have money in the bank, go with the better brands. However, for most, like myself, that money can be served better elsewhere, like buying tires or track days.

Thats exactly why i decided not to get the t-rex stands. I dont like thier two piece design. I bought a set of front and rear stands from gpi industries , lifetime warranty, one piece solid steel pipe frame. So far I am very very happy with them. I even sit my fat ass on the bike when its up on the stands and they dont budge....hers their site ( Home - GPI Industries Inc - Motorcycle Sportbike Race Stands, Chocks, Swingarm Spools and Accessories )

I have a set of T-Rex stands, front/triple and rear. Hold up great and I use them weekly. The rubber feet do have a tendancy to fall off with use, some gorilla glue fixes that problem for good overnight however.

Excellent bang for the buck.
