The company says older brake fluid and corrosion of the brake piston inside the front brake master cylinder can form a gas that reduces fluid pressure transmission to the front brake. That can reduce braking power and increase the risk of a crash.
So wait, they are recalling an item that is supposed to be changed regularly?

What's next, oil change recalls?

not the brake fluid. they're replacing the master cylinders for a defective coating on the pistons that cause gas bubbles. all the way back to 2004. you can't even buy a suzuki right now. everyone I know with a GSXR has complained about soft brake levers and big time brake fade. some of them were swapping the masters from other bikes like hondas and yamahas.
