Product being reviewed – Suzuki mirror block off covers

Product description - Billet machined and polished mirror covers

There are literally thousands of aftermarket parts available for you to customize you bike. Whatever accessories you decide to use on your bike will add your own mark and make your bike unique. Mirror block off plates have always been a simple way to add a little bit of flair to your bike and also make it look a little more sleek and sexy.

Installing these mirror block offs is as simple as it gets. Just unscrew the two screws that currently are holding on the mirror, and then replace the mirror with the block off plates and attach them with the supplied screws. Even for someone who is not used to working with hand tools, the whole process should take about 5 minutes or less.

These block off plates seemed like they are very well make. The machining of the plates leaves them matching the lines of the bike almost exactly, and the lettering that is then added to the plate is top notch and looks great. The overall fit and finish of this product is very nice.

For being as sleek looking as the Hayabusa is, it really has some ugly mirrors. Getting those mirrors off of the bike and covering up the bolt holes with a set of quality block off plates really changes the look of the front of the bike. It makes the bike look a little more sleek and aggressive. It gives it a really streamlined look. Adding a simple set of mirror block off plates will do that to most other bikes as well. Plus, it's just all about adding your own personal touch to your bike.

Pros – A great looking piece of machining, gives the bike a more sleek look

Cons – Can't see the Popo behind you trying to pull you over (or is that a Pros).

Purchase price – Anywhere from $50 to $90 across the web.

Purchased from – McCoy Motorsports for $58.95 plus shipping.

Quality – I would give these parts a 9. Machining work is great and the finish is very good.

Ease of install – I would give these a 10. It can't get more simple than putting on a set of block off plates.

I would rate this 4 out of 5 stars. This is a simple mod that almost anyone can do themselves that really adds to the appearance of their bike. Just be sure you are comfortable riding without your mirrors before you decide to do this mod.
