Hi everyone!

I have a 2004 suzuki gs500f that is not starting. A few weeks back I changed the oil and did some prep for riding, and did some riding. I let the bike sit for a week as it was getting cold where I live and I attempted to start the bike a few days ago.

My bike will not start, lights come on and battery is charged, but engine does not turn nor do I hear any noises.

Anyone have an Idea what the problem could be or where I should start?

Sounds like possibly a faulty kill switch. Perhaps a faulty gear sensor...bike won't start if it thinks it's in gear.

Start checking those.

The neutral light does come on when shifting. Where would the gear sensor be located? Is there a way to check if the Killswitch is working properly?

A dead cell in the battery will show the above symptoms. Rule out the obvious first and get it checked at an autoparts store.
