I just bought a new sv650s last week and ordered up some suzuki framesliders (just in case). I sense have heard that they suck and that if you wreck that they break (not wear/grind down) and your bike gets messed up like you didn't have them to begin with. Anyone have personal experience with them or have any stories about them, either good or bad? Thanks

I bought a set and really haven't had a problem with them. I went down about a year ago on a tight left hander and the bike slid about 20 yards b/f hitting the gaurd rail. They held up pretty good, just slid like they were suppose to. However, the plastics suffered some pretty good damage, but that is b/c of the gaurd rail and not the sliders.

I dropped my bike and didn't have the frame sliders on... I think I would of rather taken the chance with frame sliders.
