<p align="center">“Stewart Pulls Even with Barcia in Holeshot Race”

Aside from being named the Exclusive Online Retailer of Motorcycle and Motocross Gear, Parts and Apparel for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, we’ve also brought the Holeshot Championship back to the Outdoor Nationals! Here’s an update on the Holeshot Points standings after last weekend’s Red Bull RedBud National:

BUCHANAN, Mich. (July 6) - The competition for the Holeshot Championship tightened up Saturday at the Red Bull RedBud National in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.

James Stewart of Yoshimura Suzuki pulled into a tie for the lead in the 450cc class by nailing down the holeshot in Moto 2.

"It feels good to actually race these guys again," said Stewart, whose been hampered by accidents this outdoor season. "I've got to give it up to my team for sticking with me."

Both Stewart and Justin Barcia of Honda Muscle Milk have seven points with five races (10 motos) left in the season. It's the second week in a row that Stewart has earned at least one holeshot.

Josh Grant of JGR Toyota Yamaha picked up one point for getting the 450 holeshot in Moto 1 and is in fourth place.

"This is one of the toughest tracks we ride but also one of the best," Grant said. "This track is just so much fun to ride. That's what kept me up today."

For the third straight race, GEICO Honda's Wil Hahn earned points in the Holeshot Championship standings. After missing the first four races of the season, Hahn has earned the holeshot in four of the last six motos.

"Winning that check for 15 grand at the end of the year is a big motivation for me right now," Hahn said. "When you start strong, good things can happen for you in the race. I can't wait until Washougal so I can get some more points."

GEICO Honda's Zach Osborne broke the six-rider deadlock behind Hahn and claimed second place in the 250 standings for himself after winning the Moto 2 holeshot. He's now two points behind teammate Hahn for the lead.

"Good starts equal good races," Osborne said. "That was certainly the case once again today. It's cool to have GEICO Honda in first and second place."

Points for the Motorcycle Superstore Holeshot Championship are earned in every moto in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The first moto is worth one point, the second moto awards two points, and any rider who takes both holeshots at the same race receives a bonus point. At the end of the year, the top rider in the 450cc class will be paid $25,000 while the best 250cc rider gets $15,000.

The series resumes July 20 with the Peterson Cat Washougal National in Washougal, Wash. Holeshot Championship points after five events:

450cc class -- 1t. Justin Barcia, 7 points; 1t. James Stewart, 7; 3. Mike Alessi, 4; 4. Josh Grant, 3; 5. Ryan Dungey, 2; 6. Ryan Villopoto, 1
