I think my bike is really stable but I got a Scotts Rotary Damper just to be safe. It paid for itself this weekend. I went around this sweeper at about 70 and the pavement was extremely rough. I got a couple of wobbles and then the thing worked it's magic.

Rod-type, ie Ohlins, Sprint. Something about an air bubble in the rotary types...I forget.

had no issues w/ my GPR damper. works great. w/ the 636/6RR, you really do NEED one. rode w/o 1 for a few trackdays, really smoothed out my inputs but a damper really helps esp. coming out of corners or over bumps when hard on the gas.

rod/tube type dampers get damaged way too easily.
