All the new GSX-R's have Ram Air there's just no sticker on 'em now. The supersport's, I mean, not the katana sport tourer.

Gixxer = GSX-R

Kan-o-Tuna= GSX-F

SRAD= Suzuki Ram Air Direct (aka 1996-1999 GSXR750, 1997-2000 GSXR600)

I have a 1999 gsxr 750 blue and white, 4,300 miles original, new to me, switched from yamaha to suzuki, yosh slip on can, Im trying to bone up on the history behind this year bike, looking for any knowledge available, thanks in advance.

Is it wrong to add the srad stickers, or is it just known that it is an srad?
does anyone know of a link, that can break down vin numbers to tell the story of the bike. thanks in advance

Because every manufacturer has Ram Air now, its nothing special worthy of a sticker. Its like having a sticker on your bike proclaiming that you have mag wheels and not spoked wheels.

How about a DOHC sticker. Or Liquid Cooled...
I saw an old Chevy truck that had 'electronic ignition' emblazoned on it's fender.

BTW - I had a SRAD, and I took that stupid sticker right off as soon as I got it home. That's just me.
