It's because they have been watching those chopper-building "shows" on Discovery Channel and they see an increase in that moronic activity.

Let's hope they put an immediate stop to that crime.
They get taught here too

http://www.fletc.gov/

But its dealing with 1%ers like the Pagans and Hells Angels not sportbikes.
Biker Boys was just a bad movie
I think it's funny I came across this post. My wife and I were watching the History Channel last night. There was a show on that discussed the history of HD and the "Outlaw Motorcycle Crowd". At one point I turned to my wife and said, I wanna be an outlaw biker. OOooooo scary huh?

We can all be outlaw bikers. Buy an old HD, chop your bike, buy a mean looking leather jacket, stop showering, and don't cut your hair. It'a amazing how much money HD has made off the mystique of being an OUTLAW!!! Bwaaa ha ha ha!!

Think I'll stick to being a good guy riding a cycle.
Being a graduate of FLETC, I can tell you first hand that they have a very informative, if out-dated course on "Dangerous Motorcycle Gangs"!

Bottom line is as long as there are people who want to get high, there will be people out there to make it available to them. Demand requires supply, and in this world of ME ME ME ME ME, well it isn't hard to figure out that someone wanting more jingle in their pocket will be more than happy to grow, transport or sell the substance required for said high!

Mikelly,
I still remember the Brunswick/Glynco smell
I've heard of a bunch of 1%'er type gangs who peddle methamphetamines to keep an equitable cash flow.
Ah yes, nothing like the smell of the paper/ pulp mills... Ugh... That is the ONLY reason I'd not want to take a fulltime assignement there. :D

Jeckyl and St. Simmon Islands were both sweet! I remember surfing there on Thanksgiving 1986... I was a young 20 year old, Youngest to be accepted or to graduate at that point! :twofinger I couldn't even carry my service weapon home! :lol

That thing sucked. It was supposed to be about the history of bikes, but all it talked about was HD. And then they had the nerve to talk about Buel like they were the only, and greatest, sport bikes on earth.
