Well...I did it again. A few weeks ago I started thinking about a new bike, and I started thinking I needed some more supersport / track weapon in my life. The Hayabusa was insanely fast and comfortable, but...well...you guys know me and my ADD by now. So I put the Busa and some of the extra parts I had on Craigslist, and without even having a chance to think it over, it was sold. I sold it for almost $1000 more than I paid for it, but it was still hard to see her go.....I wish I could afford to keep all my bikes.

So 2 days later I found this gem in Tulsa, OK with only 140 miles on it, and I had to bite. I basically stole it, even with the cost of gas to go get it. I drove from Colorado to Oklahoma and back in one shot, some 1500 miles total.

Along the way, I had the following revelation: One should never drive through Kansas for any reason...ever. Where the fuck do those people come from, anyway? I swear the government must subsidize all those little armpit towns just so I can have a place to buy gas and pretzel-combos.

"Amber waves of grain" and "white trash gap-tooth scabby-kneed bumblefuck egypt" are awfully close, in my book. I was glad to get back to the intelligent side of the bible belt, lemme tell ya.

So I have since put another 200 miles or so on it since I got her home a couple weeks ago, and I am very happy. Fast, agile, responsive, LIGHT....I dig it. It is a totally different machine than the Busa, of course, but I like it.

I have done most of the critical mods already, screen, undertail, sliders, pegs, tank protector, etc, and the exhaust and HID's are on the way as well.

Figured I would post up some pics and share my lunacy with you all...let me know what you think!

I actually did. I was going to buy one, but I saved almost $1500 by going with the '07. That savings paid for some mods, as well as my upcoming trip to the Superbike Finale in Laguna in a few weeks.

Damn nice 10R you've got there. IMO the red '07 10R is the best-looking Ninja on the streets yet (alongside the flat-blue '06 636, like mine, lol). If you've got any more pics, definitely post them up.

Wow, yeah, I'm a little jealous. But it seems you've made money off every sold bike, so good work! Looks nice, have fun!

I know the feeling of buying bikes and selling them. Thats a nice 10 you have there. Its kinda like you got rid of the fat monster and bought a built moster-at the end, they are both monsters.

Well, the season is winding down a bit around here for the fair-weather crowd, but the year-round bombers are still out in force. Get your ass to MotoHaus Coffee on Thursday nights around 6:30 for bike night, and there are usually some decent CSC rides on Saturday and Sunday.

It's a bit cool, but in Friday and Satruday nights around 9:30 you can usually catch a few bikes on S. College in front of Silver Mine Subs.

The nearest track is the IMI go-cart track, it's fun if you like tight twisties.

Wow...I really do have a problem. But since you took the time to read all that, I went back and rehosted all the pics so everyone can see them.

It seems like so long ago when I bought that first Busa, but it was only 2.5 years. Wow.

The worst part about those people is they figured out how to vote. Hence 8 years of Bush.

I don't like the lights on that model, but the red looks good on it. How much did the busa go for?
