Sounds like a very good helmet, but at that price, you should probably look at ones from Shoei, Arai or Suomy... similarly priced, but much quieter.

top of the line arais and shoeis are not quite, they are "race" helmets designed to move air.....and to mave air, noise is made....and at high speeds lotsa noise is made........you HAVE to wear earplugs.........my RR7 is intolarable to me, above 30mph....w/o earplugs

the Shark RSR is a great helmet from what I've seen in person. I had a chance to examine one fairly closely and I would say the quality is on par with Arai/Shoei helmets. It was extremely light and the visor was so much thicker than my KBC. I wouldn't mind picking one of those up, but like RacerX said, I would probably take a Corsair or X11 over the RSR just because parts and visors are more readily available.
