I am going to have a shop set the valves on my 97 900RR. I just purchased it about 3 months or 1700 miles ago. It has about 20,000 miles on it total and has a very slight ticking in the valve train. Would it be a good Idea to replace the timing chain, guide and tensioner while I am in there. or just leave it alone. I am a total maintanance perfectionist and just wondered what you all thought.
