I am going to have a shop set the valves on my 97 900RR. I just purchased it about 3 months or 1700 miles ago. It has about 20,000 miles on it total and has a very slight ticking in the valve train. Would it be a good Idea to replace the timing chain, guide and tensioner while I am in there. or just leave it alone. I am a total maintanance perfectionist and just wondered what you all thought.

What's the recommended replacement mileage? If it's close, do it. If not, and the shop guy doesn't think there's anything wrong, don't fix what ain't broke.
