Started my commute at 11:30am, zero traffic. I'm doing 40 in a 35, 1 lane. I happen to glance in my mirror and see a guy riding right up on my ass. I pumped the brake a couple times, not enough to slow down, just activate the lights so he knows to back off. Apparently here in Vegas that is the signal to speed up and ride even closer on my ass. At this point I get a little mad, slow down and put my left hand on my knee casual riding style. This I guess is the sign to pass on a 1 lane bridge which he attempts to do. I sped up and he falls back in again on my back tire. So I brake check him and he locks up and skids briefly. Now I'm a little more angry because he's being dangerous. I sat up and nicely let him know to back off with a double bird.

The road widens at this point and he whips over to the left lane. He speeds up and I look over to see exactly who this maniac is. Some guy with the new mullet, meaning the faux mohawk where they just gel their hair up creating a crusty crest down the middle of the head. This disolves my anger and I laugh inside my helmet as this hairstyle wasn't even cool when the style was hot and even less so now that every 15 year old is sporting it. This guy looked in his mid 20's. In any case, he didn't jaw at all, wouldn't look at me. He just looked straight ahead and sped up. Fucking wierdo.

On the plus side a Syclone tried to give me a go a few blocks later. I love those trucks, too bad you don't see them very often anymore. Oh yeah, I know I'm a :squid :squid :squid but what can I say, people doing something wrong and then getting mad when someone calls them on it deserve a finger at the very least. (sometimes two!) Hope he doesn't go home and kick his dog.

No, not exactly, but you should have "helped" him get around you the first time. 400 lbs always loses to 4000 lbs. It just isn't worth it.

+1

That guy was a dick, but anyone on a motorcycle thinking they will teach someone in a car a lesson is kidding themselves.

If you do that with the wrong person driving it could be your life. What if they are a total schitzophrenic weirdo? Give them the finger when they are right up your ass and they will fucking run you right off the road.

I would never brake check him but I understand you getting mad pissed...

I recently was waiting to make a right hand turn while the 2 lanes making left hands were going through on their green.. all of a sudden the asshat in the car behinds me floors it goes around me and somehow manages to cut in. At first I was like kind of like WTF! what an asshole and let it go and then I catch up to him rather quickly within a mile after I made my right, and was just going to normally pass him not even flick him or anything and I just glance over as he gets into the left turn lane(non-light) and he flicks me off, This chubby ass puerto rican or indian dude and I just went nuts inside my helmet. I was like wtf! and hits the brakes and slowed down with the thought of possibly yanking a u-turn and doing whatever I was going to do at the time(think he was going into gas station) and he had this look on his face like "OH SHIT" when I hit the brakes but the next place to make a u-turn was to far up and I was allready running late for work so I just continued on my way. That has been the only time I've ever reacted in a way where I was going to actually do something whether it be kick his door or something(and Ive had way worse things happen to me before but always let them go) but im glad I just kept going otherwise I might of been in some trouble, I was steaming.

I did learn a lesson though to stay in the middle of the turning lane @ the big intersections to block this from happening.

Last time a cager did that to me I pulled over to let him pass.

Then, I pulled my MP-5 sub-machine gun with a 31 round clip out of my tankbag, flipped to full auto and busted 31 caps in his ass!! :banana

I'd have pulled him out of his truck, thrown him on my tank, and brought him to the nearest woods and made him squeal like a pig.

Ahem. I think that was a rather unfortunate choice of words.
