I don't actually know, it is an '06, but it is a track bike haha. I guess I didn't point that part out, whoops!

06 is a C2 lol. First order of business is to swap out the front calipers with the calipers from an 07-08 ZX6 or a ZX10. The stock tokicos are crap. If it's a track bike then I'm assuming its already done. I'm sure the lines are already upgraded to, and the MC is already beefy enough. The brakes are the worst part about this bike.

Yeah, it has some a full Brembo system. Thanks though! It should be good to go set up for my weight and everything

Jordan. I'm still hanging around. I've got a big interview in a few hours though. Its pretty exciting. The job is in a skyscraper that is the tallest building in Minnesota and I think thats pretty cool. When I get this job I'll be moving up here and picking up a brand new KAW by May (thats when it will be riding season up here).

The interview went well. When I left I wasn't getting a good vibe and then they said that I "might" hear from them and that they were interviewing more people this week. I'm pretty sure I won't get it... Its just a feeling. I'll just keep looking. I've been looking for work for almost a year so something is bound to happen soon.

The verdict is in. I got that job. I start my new job in Minneapolis on March 12th. I'm a Regulatory Specialist/Consultant Level 2. Its a good wage and I'm going to crash at my mom's place for a while to save up a down payment for a home of my own.

I am already bike shopping though. I have decided on midsized sport tourer rather than the larger sport tourer (ie. Ninja 1000 or Triumph Sprint) I just don't want or need all the extra motor. I'm tossing around the idea of a 2012 Ninja 650 or possibly a used Ducati ST4. I've seen some killer prices on low miled Suzuki SV650s but I don't know if I ever want to own a suzuki. I guess we will see.

Whats going on with all of you?

Jordan,
Are you still in the Shreveport area? Been looking for people to ride with and I have buddy who is getting a 2012 650R around the end of this month.

By the by, I have a 09 650R, 2 Brothers V.A.L.E. M2 exhaust, integrated LED Taillight. Just rolled over to 3500 miles.

Yep, I'm in Shreveport for exactly one month. Moving to England for the USAF in April. In the meantime I'm always down to ride, so just let me know! There's a big group of us that always, and sometimes I go alone, just depends on what pace I want to ride. I tend to just cruise and enjoy the scenery when I'm alone so if that's your preferred pace you may want to avoid the others lol. Is your bike red?

No, I ride one of the, I think, three green ones on base. Hopefully it will be nice at the end of the month for thunder on the bayou. Last base ride I went on was a pretty nice ride, other than being five under the whole time. I'm no crazy rider taking what turns we actually here around shreveport at three times the pisted speed, but I do like to at least do the speed limit. Weather permitting, I plan on going on a ride next weekend, but not really sure of any nice rides around here.:eatsmiley

Oh you're an Airman too? Cool. Well, there's 175, and 175 also. S. Lakeshore is twisty but it's residential so you gotta keep the speed reasonable. There's quite a few AF guys that ride with us, do you have a Facebook? I can add you to our group if you like.

Congrats on the job greg!!!...unfortunate we never got to ride :(

hey jordan..when do you leave?
One week from Tuesday. It doesn't look like I'll have much time to ride though unfortunately. I'll be in Atlanta getting a new car on Monday, then I'm packing my life up and talking with TMO Tues-Thursday, Friday I'm quitting my job, turning in all my stuff, and getting my 401k money put into an IRA so I don't lose it and then going to a wedding, Saturday my friends are having a party for me and I'm going back to school to say goodbye to whoever can't make the party, and Sunday and Monday will be family days :-/
